I want to continue reading but there's no way i can read the novel with the missing chapters :( I don't get why people take revenge when they get a second chance? I mean let's say that you get reincarnated in a parallel world as Hitler's childhood friend, what will you do then? (1.) Will you kill the currently innocent young Hitler before he has any chance to do any harm to the world? (2.) Will you let Hitler grow up evil and stop him just before he has any chance to do any harm to the world? (3.) Or Will you groom Hitler for him to grow up good and live a productive life? In most of the novels, with time reverse-like settings, people pretty much always choose the second option. Isn't it common consensus that one who does nothing to stop something bad from happening, of course when the person in mention has the power to do so, is as guilty as the person who does it.(These lackluster reviews I am giving only consider the title and description)Feel free to correct me. Your example of Hitler is not really good. For example, you didn't say if they knew the hitler in their second life, or if it was someone from XXI century. Young people don't really care about Hitler, they just know he did something horrible , but they don't feel it. It's like saying this person is bad, because they sells drugs. At first you have a bad impression of that person, because of social norms, and drugs bad and all that. People judge people based on opinions of other people. If you are narrow minded you will not see a drug dealer as a good citizen. No, maybe he is not a good citizen, but who is one? Why was society created in the first place? For people to have easier and safer life. Most don't care about those at the bottom, because they can eat their fill, have hobbies and have their families. Those that are barely making their ends sometimes don't wany to do "bad things", but they do. Human society is not as white as it seems. It's grey.I think that Hitler didn't want all that blood (except fo jewish) to spill. He was a dreamer. He dreamt about the perfect Germany. He wanted to change his country. What leader wants to see his people die from poverty?I stil have to say that, for me, Hitler was not that good of a leader. All those slayed jews, show that he had a huge grudge against them. He should instead use them for cheap labour. I mean he kind of did, but it was a very inefficienc way. The food situation definitely didn't help with growing slaves. For me, it's still a little strange, that he didn't start growing more farms and using slaves in a more efficient way. I also get that number of germans was limited, so you could not have that many people working for free under you. After his attack on Poland, there should have been a bunch of Poles willing to join his camp. He really was too racist. Altough some joined him, it was still extremly limited, because spies could get anywhere. Some of the methods for minimalizing the risk, is having their families go to Berlin/other german city, while they are in some other places. It may be a plain threat, but it's necessary to find yourself some true followers. It's impossible to cover your every move, so even if someone was a spy, they would have already betrayed their country or been killed. Of course, it's not so sunny and everything, not all things go as you plan. My thoughts are most probably flawed. It's inevitable as I don't often think about it. It just pains me that a great man, a second Napoleon, failed so miserabely, because of his rashness. Attack on ZSRR was as bad as Napoleon's attack on it. Both of the Europe's great men failed at the same obstacle, preventing them from creating a new world.About your question. You don't get why people take revange after the second chance. Human heart is a mystery box, sometimes hate is so strong, that even death doesn't make you forget it. Authors like to play with our hearts and play on our nerves. Also, in some cases it acts as a temporsry goal, as the author doesn't want to give him a real thing to strive for. (A thing for us to look forward) Damn bro you gave me an entire chapter, I have feeling that if you were the one reincarnated as Hitler's childhood friend you would have helped him conquer the whole world, more humanely of course. From what I know, most people in the world do know about what Hitler did and why it was bad. Society was created to increase the chances of survival of humans as a whole. Many psychologists have concluded, after intensive research on Hitler's actions, that he didn't really wanted to win but was more after the complete destruction of the jews.
