Tribulation of Mysteries

Chapter 26:

Chapter 26:

“Mother…”

After running for a while, Lin hid in a cave. She hugged her arms and began to shiver.

Her hunting at night was more an instinct of hunger and thirst. Even though her body had grown, she was still a child forced to mature.

“I’m so scared…”

Lin thought about that night again. She stared at the moon and thought about her mother.

Then a strange knowledge appeared in her mind. With the knowledge came a strong hunger and thirst.

Under the influence of hunger and thirst, she went out at night and attacked the members of the Black Sun Cult.

At the bottom of the little girl’s heart, she also held a grudge against those cult members.

After all, they were the ones who sacrificed her Aunt Xiu!

In the end, it came to this.

The terror of the high priest gave her the illusion that she would be killed the moment she saw him. So she did not hesitate to leave a fake body behind to fight the enemy, while she grew up in an instant and escaped.

After a while of fear, Lin began to draw a ritual on the floor.

Although she lacked the candles and essential oils, and the ritual was not standard, she began to pray: “I pray to god… or the unknown entity that wanders the void, whoever it is… help me!

Aaron commented slowly, “This girl is half crazy, right?”

Suddenly he seemed to hear an echo in his ear.

It was vague and incomparably quiet. Unless he concentrated, it was almost impossible to hear.

“Unknown existence that wanders the void … help me …”

Aaron’s expression changed, “I heard it … Prayer? This ritual is addressed to me? No … it’s a problem of range, isn’t it? I should have thought of that! ”

He was excited. As expected, there should be no shortage of lunatics in this world who would randomly perform rituals on unknown subjects. He had not received a signal because he was too weak and the range of his reception was too narrow.

Now there was an unknown ritual in front of him!

Aaron could feel that some kind of connection was being made as he received the will.

He saw the girl before him from a new perspective.Read lat𝙚st chapters at nov(𝒆)lbin.com Only

In his ‘vision’, the young lady’s body was filled with a flowing crimson red. In terms of power, she was even stronger than the Black sun cult members!

However, the flowing scarlet had completely covered the girl’s brain and was still trying to seep in.

“The connection has been made. What can I do?”

Aaron thought for a moment and said, “Well, I still have an energy unit from today’s dream… I can try it”.

Lin only wanted to pray unconsciously.

She also wanted to add the honorific name of ‘Mother’.

But before she could say anything, she felt an invisible connection being established.

The world before her seemed to turn into a colourful kaleidoscope.

Among the thousands of fragments of light, a terrifying gaze was transmitted.

One look was enough to make Lin collapse on the ground.

Not only that, but cracks began to appear on her body, exposing the flesh that had not yet fully developed.

“Urgh!”

Lin couldn’t stand it anymore and began to vomit. Among the vomit were some strange blood-red insects, struggling like fish out of water.

Her body continued to shrink until she returned to her former appearance of a little girl, the crimson in her eyes slowly fading.

“What… what have I done!

Lin muttered to herself, her eyes filled with fear.

Huh? It seems that my energy has washed away the corruption on the other party’s body?

Aaron could see that there was still a crimson red on Lin’s body, but it had become extremely pure and no longer had the disgusting writhing feeling from before.

Lin was stunned. “You… what being in the void are you?”

She knew that her ritual from earlier had indeed summoned an unknown being.

“It’s finally here, this chance!”

Aaron was shocked, then sighed: “You can call me – the Spirit of Falsehood who wanders through the unknown, the absolute neutral entity, the Silent Observer!”

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to say outright that he was the Creator above the Creation, the Source of all Mysteries.

But after thinking about it, he felt that this honourable name was too annoying. If the Black Sun entities noticed, he wouldn’t be able to retaliate with his current body, so he decided against it.

“Spirit of Falsehood, thank you for answering my prayer”

Lin didn’t know how shocking it was for an entity to respond to a ritual and communicate with her.

She was only a child, after all, and her knowledge was extremely limited.

“You seem to have run into some trouble…”

Aaron spoke in a very calm tone.

“That’s right, I’m being pursued by the Black Sun Cult …” Lin lowered her head, her voice full of longing.

“I’m an absolute neutral entity, I won’t actively help you unless … we make a deal!”

Aaron showed a hint of a smile.

He was interested in the knowledge in Lin’s hands.

Although manipulating flesh and blood was disgusting, it could at least enrich his knowledge.

That’s right, the pathetic him didn’t even have the ability to dig out her brain and check her memories – what a pathetic evil god.

“A deal?”

“Offer me a sacrifice that satisfies my desires and I’ll answer your prayer.”

Aaron continued: “Anything tangible or intangible can become an offering, such as … knowledge!”

“My… my most precious possession should be the knowledge of ‘Red’, I’m willing to offer it to you, please help me escape from danger!”

As soon as Lin said that, Aaron’s gaze suddenly pierced through her body and saw a red ball of light.

When his thoughts touched it, lines of information appeared in his mind:

[Method of Creating Flesh and Blood Puppets: …]

[Feast Ritual: …]

Everything should be able to form an incomplete secret manual of Red.

“Not bad!”

Aaron looked at Lin and noticed that the ball of light in her memory hadn’t disappeared. Obviously the knowledge transfer hadn’t been lost, she still remembered everything.

Aaron silently mocked her, then spoke: “You can go now, I’ll protect you. Remember, don’t pray to the being on the moon unless…”

This was a metaphysical protection, although he didn’t want his only believer to die, if she was caught, Aaron wouldn’t be able to do anything …
