The Black Beast's Useless Concubine

Chapter 2

The Scum Is Back!

As the white glow entered her body, Bai Ye felt power surge into her, filling her to the brim.

At this moment, Bai Ye was not aware that her every move was being watched.

“Ma— Master…This girl is scary! Her meridians were severed but she can still move so fast! Wasn’t she dead just now?

“Master! We should leave. It’s a zombie!” a man who was dressed as a bodyguard said to the regal-looking man in all black beside him after witnessing the resurrection.

His master’s eyes were fixed on the creature before them. The bodyguard’s advice was completely ignored.

There was an odd humming in the air.

Bai Ye experienced a transformation as power rushed through her body.

The severed meridians on her limbs were repairing themselves. The cut on her face disappeared, leaving not even a scar. Her body felt different.

As if something changed…

A humming sound.

Bai Ye found herself in an unfamiliar place. Before she could process her surroundings, a white light shot toward her. Visit no(v)eLb(i)n.𝘤𝑜𝓂 for the best novel reading experience

She tried to dodge it but failed. She felt something stick to her neck, right over her pulse.

A rustling sound was heard as the creature on her neck wiggled.

Bai Ye’s muscles tensed. One wrong move could lead to a ripped carotid artery. She did not want to end up like the men she killed minutes ago.

It was a treacherous position to be in.

However…

Just as Bai Ye was contemplating her counterattack, the creature made a squealing sound.

“Wa!” the creature cried.

“Waaaaaa!”

Bai Ye was sure the cries were from the creature attached to her neck. She felt its tiny claws tugging at her skin in tandem with its wails.

It was a puzzling situation but she felt a connection with the creature. It seemed to have a reliance on her.

Bai Ye angled her head. The creature attached to her neck was white and fluffy.

Having sensed her stare, the fluff wiggled. Its head peeped out from underneath to meet Bai Ye’s gaze.

Bai Ye’s eyes widened. The creature was adorable! It had a pair of animated, oval-shaped eyes and its body was white and furry. A white furball!

“Sniffles…Little Ye is a meanie. What took you so long? If you didn’t show up, I would have died of hunger…It’s so cold here…” the little thing wailed in an accusing tone as if Bai Ye had intentionally mistreated it.

Just as Bai Ye was about to question it, the creature’s eyes widened. There was a bloodthirsty glint in its eyes as it screamed, “Little Ye, quick! That scum, Qing Xuantian, is back! Let’s kill him!”
