Li Yan thought that after being sold by her birth mother to her father, this illegitimate child would feel inferior and become withdrawn. She lay there in a daze. She often dreamed about her mother abandoning her, but this was the first time she had dreamed about Li Yan leaving.
Her eyes were wet, and she realized that she had been crying.
Perhaps, that memory had come back because Li Yan suddenly showed up in her life again. She did not expect herself to feel so sad.
Qiao Mu was in a daze for quite a while before she came round. She sat up, and she froze when she realized that her whole body was aching.
