After laughing for a bit, she wiped the tears from her eyes before saying, "You really don't know how to lie at all, do you?"

My lips just twitched when I heard this, but I didn't deny it.

In this kind of situation that was clearly out of my depths, I really didn't know how to act at all. So the only thing that I could do in my daze was tell the truth.

But then she suddenly revealed a serious look and asked me, "Did you seriously mean what you said?"
