Chapter 1900  Ajax's Choice

As Ajax was flying towards the Golden City in the center of the Fire Region of the Floating Island, the Spirit of the Floating Island appeared and informed them about the two rulers who wanted to surrender to him.

'Huh?'

Ajax was shocked when he heard the words of the Floating Island's Spirit; however, he quickly recovered from his shock and asked, "Why? Why do they want to surrender to me?"

He was confused by those two rulers.

It was because of how much those two rulers of the Floating Island must have worked hard to reach their current position, and now, they want to become his subordinates.

'Wait a second…are they planning to kill me just like how the Veiled Vampire Emperor has done to Aveline in the nightmare?'

Before the Spirit of the Floating Island said anything, Ajax assumed something like this.

After witnessing the scenes in Aveline's Nightmare, Ajax could tell that these rulers of the Floating Island have direct contact with the ascended cultivators from the Heavenly Bestial Realm.

So, even if they become his subordinates, as long as they could get some unique items from the Heavenly Bestial Realm behind his back, they could break free of Ajax's spiritual imprint in their Spirit Consciousness before stabbing him in the back.

The Spirit of the Floating Island was still in the light orb form as it replied to everything about the two rulers who wanted to surrender to him while circling Ajax.

"Is that so?"

Hearing that, Ajax could not help but smile a little, "Looks like these two rulers value their lives very dearly."

'Should I give them a chance and make them my subordinates?'

Ajax silently thought about it while flying towards the Golden City.

If each ruler of the Floating Island was more or less as strong as Aveline, then having them as his subordinates was not a bad thing.

As for the betrayal, Ajax didn't think much about it because his goal was to ascend to the Heavenly Realms and search for his mother while exploring the Heavenly Realms.

Also, once they become his subordinates, Ajax could eventually turn them into his loyal subordinates even if they have any ill intentions towards him.

Ajax was momentarily speechless before saying, "I will accept their surrender and make them my subordinates. Ask them to enter my territory so that I can leave my Spiritual Imprint on them."

With a Spiritual Imprint, Ajax could kill them with a single thought if he sensed anything wrong with their behaviour or actions.

Moreover, he has another important reason for planning to take them.

'If I can't use the Golden City of the Fire Region, then I can use the mediums in the hands of those rulers to communicate with the Ascended Cultivators from the Heavenly Bestial Realm to get a Divine Fruit.'

Even though Ajax learned that the Golden City was a medium to the Heavenly Bestial Realm, he felt a bad feeling about it.

Since Ajax killed Aveline, the owner of the Golden City, if he tried to use the Golden City to contact someone from the Heavenly Bestial Realm, that particular someone might not want to make a deal with him.

As far as Ajax witnessed, the mediums that let the cultivators communicate or contract the ascended cultivators from the Heavenly Realm were bestowed by their blood-related ancestors.

Since Ajax killed Aveline, the ascended cultivator in the Heavenly Bestial Realm might be related to Aveline through blood, and he might not exchange with Ajax.

'Also, there are chances that he might be angry with me and want to kill me.'
