Huo Yuhao stared at her blankly and replied, "No thanks. I won't be returning to this place anytime soon."
"Eh, that was sad." Mo Roxue felt a little down when hearing Huo Yuhao's replies. She can't pat him and get a boost of energy like this anymore.

"I would have never thought myself to get jealous because of mother and son's bonding." Mo Roxue commented while shaking his head. She looked at Xiao Xiao and asked, "Child, your parents should be here soon, right?"
"Mm, mother said she would come after finishing her work at the bakery. She was busy because the Princess's return makes people demand a ridiculous amount of bread." Xiao Xiao nodded slightly.
"Your mom works at the bakery?" Mo Roxue was surprised.
"Yes. We owned one, to be fair. I can give you freshly baked bread for free." The young girl continued while moving her gaze to Huo Yuhao, expecting a reaction from him.
Huo Yuhao couldn't help but feel amused inside and politely denied, "Sorry, I can't stay for too long. We have planned a journey to grandma's house."
"I-I see..." Xiao Xiao lowered her head.
"Six years. I'll be at the Shrek Academy in six years." He said while patting her head. "We can meet again there."

"Yeah."
"Okay, that's enough. Remember our conversation." Huo Yun'er stood between them skeptically, separating Xiao Xiao from her beloved son.
Xiao Xiao pouted and said, "Yeah. Just wait, I'll be strong enough to become his support in the future."
After some brief conversation, Huo Yuhao and Huo Yun'er went away from the northern gate and rode a carriage to the outside world.
Mo Roxue slowly looked down at her hand, finding a small pouch of gold coins. Huo Yuhao still paid her for awakening his martial soul, despite doing it for free.
"He's such an interesting child." She said while looking at the northern gate. Xiao Xiao's small figure came into her vision, making her curious about something.
Mo Roxue pondered for a second and asked, "Hey, child. May I know what you are talking about with his mom?
