Chapter 19: KIDNAPPED (4)

Liam still kept a stern gaze on James without any words exchanged between them.

James just couldn't be bothered by Liam's actions as his full attention was on Alicia's expressionless face.

"What are you here for Mr Peterson?" asked Alicia with an uninterested tone.

James stopped and looked at the woman in front of him, he just couldn't place a finger at what emotions she had in her heart. "You owe me a proper 'second date' Alicia." Said James with a slightly annoyed voice.

Alicia laughed at his words spoke heartlessly and said, "I'm sorry Mr Peterson, I don't do second dates." She looked at Liam's face with no expression and continued with, "It's a waste of time."

Liam smiled at her words and interrupted their discussion with, "How about we continue with lunch miss Adams? Since breakfast was cut soo short."

Alicia was speechless from his words as she walked closer to James and said, "I believe we spoke about this last month James, but since you want to be in my presence soo much, how about we settle this right now?"

Alicia stood in front of James with a blank face as she gazed at his face which had turned dark, as his eyes kept an intense gaze at her right hand which had a knife in it.

She spoke to James whilst she kept the knife poking on his abdomen.

James was both shocked and amused by her movement, she still had the same expression she had when he offered to be her companion for a while, and they would get married eventually.

She was truly allergic to the thought of commitment. It absolutely revolts her.

"You can't keep doing this Alicia, I might call the cops on you if I get pierced by a knife again, you almost killed me last time." spoke James with a little disdain in his voice.

Liam slowly put the gun back into the box and watched the two figures in front of him. He watched the way Alicia kept her gaze on James without even the slightest of feelings involved. He could not stop himself from anting to know the peculiar woman in front of him even more.

Alicia on the other hand was ready to pounce on James as his words made him truly angry, who did he think he was to be able to talk to her as if he was scolding her.

Right when she wanted to jump on James, she felt her legs leaving the ground being elevated by two large arms.

"Put me down Liam, what do you think your doing?" said Alicia, shocked by Liam's audacity.

Liam simply smiled at her retort and said, "Stop squirming, you might hurt yourself, …"
