Lu Weixi almost choked, hastily muffled her mouth with a napkin, and swallowed the porridge and dishes that were in her mouth. She took a sip of water, stood up and even tidied her hair.
Qin Zhiyou glanced at her indifferently and said nothing. Secretary Wang also came downstairs, “Well, Mr. Qin, I’ll deal with that matter as you instructed. I will write down your instructions for the event’s planning, and have the planning department revise it. There’s also the plan for overseas development…”
Qin Zhiyou had finished all the work he didn’t complete in the afternoon, within two hours. Lu Weixi sat quietly by their side during their work discussion. Qin Zhiyou lightly raised an eyebrow, his face expressing annoyance at being disturbed.
“…nothing.” Maybe because the dim lighting in the dining room might have made it impossible for him to see clearly. It was hard to imagine a person as particular as Qin Zhiyou would eat the leftovers from her meal, and use her utensils.
