Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Instincts

Aurora just watched everything with her eyes wide open, her brain has long stopped working, she couldn't understand what had just happened.

When the explosion occurred because of the collision of the arrows and swords, she backed down and fell on the ground, although there were runes negating the pressure and any damage coming towards her, the mere presence of the attacks has blown her mind.

But when she saw the green mist forming where both Aadi's and Asty's domains were, she felt like she understood something but at the same time she didn't.

All of this caused such a mess in her mind that she nearly lost consciousness.

All of a sudden, everything vanished in front of her eyes and she came back to her senses, and saw Aadi and Asty facing each other with a clear high tension among them.

Asty took a deep breath and said in a threatening tone "I don't know how you got that but give it to me this instant."

Aadi just smiled and responded by shaking his head "I can give you this but you have to promise me that you won't attack me unless I attack you for the next 7 million years and by that I mean without using time dilation."

Asty began contemplating as there were only three things she liked to do, first of course is sleeping, second is bullying Aadi and third is this box. Now she is in a pinch. After thinking for a while, she decided her answer.

Asty clicked her tongue and said "Tch Fine, I won't attack you but you'll be one to train basic things to Aurora."

Aadi just shrugged his shoulders, he knew she wasn't going to train Aurora either way so it doesn't really matter.

Aadi then threw the box towards Asty and immediately heard a shout from Asty "Be careful bastard, even if you work for millions of years you can't afford it."

Aadi's eyes twitched after hearing that and he simply looked away, he didn't want to answer her, arguing with a fool only proves there are two.

Asty hurriedly caught the box and looked at it like it was the world's greatest creation. Her eyes shined in excitement and one could even see drool coming out of her mouth.

After looking at it for a while, she put that box in her pocket dimension reluctantly.

Just as she turned her head towards Aadi, a cake appeared out of nowhere and smashed at her little face.

She wasn't even surprised by the following loud laughter as she has already imagined something like this, she knew Aadi was a petty person so he would definitely take revenge but she didn't think it would be this soon that's why she was caught off guard.

Aadi was rolling on the ground,clutching his stomach laughing out loud.

Asty shook her whole body to get rid of the cake, soon her white shiny fur came back again and there wasn't even a piece left of cake in her.

"I still don't understand what is so fun about this." Asty sighed and said. She walked towards Aurora who was watching them with a speechless expression.

Aadi contained his laughter and stood up, he also walked behind Asty and replied "As I said before, you'll never be able to understand the dao of cake, wait maybe that's why you're weaker than me."

Asty didn't even looked back, snorted and said "Yeah, and who was getting his ass kicked just a few moments ago."

Aadi responded with a straight face "Of course it was because I was in my weakest state otherwise you'll never be able to even touch me."

At the same time Aadi finished his shameless comment, they reached Aurora who hadn't changed her expression till now and was still looking at them with the same expression.

She was really shocked to the core, one minute they were fighting and the next moment they acted as if nothing has happened, she even wondered 'Am I really in good hands? Did I just choose crazy people as my Masters?'

Aadi came and crouched down in front of Aurora and said with a chuckle "Oya Oya am I sensing fear from your body? Tell me Aurora, do you fear the power that we just showed?"

Aurora was confused by Aadi's word but then followed his gaze and found her body trembling, she was even more confused as although she felt fear from watching the battle, it wasn't to this extent.

"It's okay, Fear is good, it tells you what weakness is. And once you know your weakness you can become even more strong." Aadi said he patted Aurora's head, calming down her whole body.

Aurora lowered her head and enjoyed Aadi's pat, she felt very comfortable and safe under his hands, she felt even if the whole world wanted her dead she'll be safe under these hands. She suddenly remembered Aadi's goal that Asty told her and smiled a little, she forgot everything and just sat there in happiness.

"As for the trembling of your body, it's a good thing as well. You see, you have very strong instincts and it was because of them you reacted like that. And as these instincts are body related, and you're mind was on something else you weren't in sync" Aadi explained as he retracted his hands.

Although Aurora felt a little sad but she didn't ask for more. She began thinking about Aadi's words, she suddenly had a look of realization and asked "Master, is that the reason you told me use instincts in our spar?"

Aadi nodded in agreement and said "Yes I noticed it so I wanted to confirm it, you're really lucky to be born with them as it takes years of training and fighting for others to gain that."

Aadi clicked his fingers and all then runes disappeared from the dimensionol space and everything returned to normal.

Aadi as if just remembered now told to Aurora "Oh yeah if you want power like that, you won't have to wait long as we just used Ruler Profound Stage strength."
