Chapter 4: Emma

After a few minutes of people shuffling inside the building Kaden and Ashly entered and were both once again amazed at the sheer size of the room which they were in. The room was at least the size of half a football field if not more with many different rooms sectioned off inside the building for different types of training but also a huge podium which laid in front of them with possibly thousands of chair in front of it slowly filling up.

"Wow. This is awesome." Ashly was the one to audibly show her enthusiasm for once.

"We should probably go find our seats." Kaden said taking Ashly out of her stupor and beginning to walk to the long rows without waiting for her and gaining some considerable distance immediately.

After realizing that Kaden wasn't going to wait on her and was leaving without her Ashly immediatly became annoyed.

"Hey! Wait up you jerk!" Ashly said angrily chasing Kaden down quickly but after a moment she realize Kaden suddenly stopped moving. No, that was wrong it seemed like someone else was stopping him in his tracks. It was a girl with long blonde hair that reached down far below her shoulders, and she had lightly tanned skin that matched well with her beautiful face.

'Maybe she's an ex that broke up with him. Maybe she will bully him, and he will become sad again maybe even cry~' She thought to herself shivering in delite. 'Though she is beautiful I wondered how he pulled her off in the first place.' She wondered. 'Either way this should be interesting.' She thought with an evil smile appearing on her face.

As for Kaden Ashly's assumption couldn't have been farther from the truth. Currently Kaden was standing in front of the girl he made cry yesterday wondering why she was stopping him.

When he first started walking away and was passing by many filled rows trying to find an open spot for two people he noticed one row that seemed much noisier than the others. At first, he ignored it because he could care less of what's happening in that row and was more focused on the ceremony ahead but once he heard some of the whispers he couldn't help but turn his attention slightly towards the area in curiosity.

"Is she the heiress of the Johnson group?" Someone whispered loudly to another.

"Wow, she is like an angel~" Someone else cooed with hearts in their eyes.

Once Kaden fully turned his attention to the row he immediately regretted it when he realized that the heiress that they were speaking of was none other than the girl he turned down yesterday.

'She's an heiress? Who knew.' He thought to himself quite surprised but made sure to immediately start distancing himself from the row so there was no chance of any sort of commotion happening. The more Kaden started thinking about her being an heiress the more her other personality made sense.

"Kaden! Hey over here!" A beautiful voice made Kaden stop dead in his tracks as he started to remove himself from the area and he knew exactly who it was immediately putting on his happiest looking face.

Turning around Kaden met the face of the girl he turned down yesterday but now instead of tears coming down her face a smile was plastered on, "Hi Emma. It seems you got home safely, how are you today?" Kaden asked politely, there was no reason to ask what she was doing here as he already knew she would be coming to this school as well from some of their previous talks in the past.

"I did get home safely thank you for the ride and I am well thank you for asking how are you?" She said replying with a smile. To the outside viewer, this conversation might seem normal and almost friendly but to the two of them, they knew what was happening.

'What is she planning?' Kaden thought to himself trying to find the root of her plan but couldn't so he decided to keep going along with the conversation.

"I'm well thank you but now if you don't mind I need to lea-"

It was a guy similar in height to Kaden with dark red spiky hair and a more muscular build giving him a more muscle head vibe and judging by the way he spoke and was carrying himself walking towards Kaden he could tell how much confidence the person had in themselves. Whether that confidence could be backed up or not remains to be seen.

When the kid got close enough to Kaden he tried to put his hand on his shoulder but Kaden immediately moved out of the way. One of the things Kaden hated the most was being touched without permission, "Actually I got her an uber I have never given her a ride myself as I don't have a vehicle to drive nor plan to take her anywhere in the future." Kaden said distancing himself a little from the guy and peeking at Emma who had a slight smirk on her face.

Thinking of a new tactic Kaden walked back over whispering in the guy's ear, "I actually know a way to help you get closer to her if you would like."

The second these words entered the boy's ear his face lit up and he put on a stupid grin, "Please do tell good sir." He whispered back in anticipation.

After hearing his willingness, Kaden whispered some things he learned about Emma that will get him closer to her but the thing he didn't know was that getting closer to her is the last thing any person wants to do.

'This should cause trouble for both Emma and him.' Kaden thought happily as he whispered more in the kids' ear making sure to keep his eyes locked with Emma's as he whispers to him making her face contort in anger for half a second before returning to her fake confused face.
