Chapter 22: PTSD?

The confusion in both Kaden and Ashly's eyes was apparent as the man listed out Kaden's class. However, Kaden decided not to miss this chance and walked over to the side taking the chance that was somehow given to him.

'What made him see my class that way? How did Ashly do that?' Kaden thought to himself completely confused about the situation he found himself in.

Deciding to wait until Ashly was done to ask more questions Kaden walked not too far down the hall from where Ashly was and decided to lean against the wall in wait. Soon after he leaned his shoulders on the wall a commotion started inside the room he just left. nove(l)bi(n.)com

"S RANK POTENTIAL EMOTIONAL VAMPIRE?" The teachers' voice filled the halls with his shock.

'It still feels strange to be beside a person that will be a powerhouse in the future.' Kaden thought to himself as he watched Ashly walk out of the room and many others now flocking towards her after hearing her potential rank which should have normally been private, but the teacher was too surprised.

The annoyance was already painted all over Ashly's face as she made her way towards Kaden. This made Kaden slightly laugh at her due to how the tables had turned, 'She's normally very in control of the situation so I will relish this moment.' Kaden thought to himself with a smile on his face that didn't go unnoticed by Ashly which made her more annoyed.

Once she got over to Kaden, she grabbed his arm hurriedly and began leading him out of the school while she was still being followed by the group who began to whisper about them from behind her.

"Awww man does she already have a full team for the exam? He must be one of them."

"I wonder if that's her boyfriend and she let him on her group to protect him. He doesn't look strong after all."

"No way! If she needs a good boyfriend that can fend for himself then she should choose me!"

"No me!"

After a seemingly harmless start to a conversation, it ended up like this making some of the guys rush forward to grab on to the still moving Ashly making her stop immediately and turn back to the group with a death stare. It wasn't as if she didn't hear what they said and by them coming to her directly it seemed they were just here to give her a headache which was starting to piss her off.

"What do you want?" Ashly said slowly starting to fume with anger despite her usual calmness which was quite a sight to see for Kaden as he watched everything play out.

It seemed that two of the guys had enough courage to actually come up to Ashly and they didn't look friendly either. They looked like the delinquent type which was not usually common here based on what they had seen so far.

"Nothing much we just think that your little boyfriend here might be holding you up in the exam soon. Why not ditch him and come with us." They said with perverted intentions as it was obvious based on how their eyes looked Ashly up and down.

Ashly wasted no time punching one in the face causing his nose to turn at a weird angle and making him fall over crying in pain, "Your screams have no flavor to it how disgusting." Ashly said as she walked forward kicking him in the head and knocking him out.

Ashly then looked at the other one seeing if he would continue but he had already been running down the hallway away from Ashly. The group that had originally formed to follow her immediately dispersed as well seemingly afraid that they would get punched next.

"That was rather aggressive and completely out of your character from what I've seen." Kaden commented on her behavior confused by it all.

She looked back at him with eyes that yelled not to question anymore, "It's a long story. I will tell you later."

After this the teachers rushed out to see the commotion as it had been reported that someone punched another in the middle of the hallway. They saw that Kaden and Ashly were standing near the knocked-out student and took them further in the school for questioning only to find out that they were the victims after asking a bunch of students around the area and then letting them back out to go to the exam.

'I expected her to be super smooth about the whole thing and do something I wouldn't expect but not like this.' Kaden thought as he remembered the situation unfolding in front of him.

"Sorry about that." Kaden heard turning around to see Ashly leaving the teacher's office next to him.

"No worries it's not like we got in trouble or anything and those guys deserved it to be honest," Kaden replied back as they made their way towards the exam area for sure this time.

The teachers had been kind enough to inform them that the exam groups would meet at the gym like before and then begin the actual exam which was new information to them as they planned to ask some of the students outside after they finished with showing their class.

"By the way, your class changing was not my doing," Ashly said dropping a bomb as they exited the main school building.

"What do you mean?" Kaden questioned completely confused.

A bus was currently arriving at the school that was filled to the brim with kids the same age as Kaden and the others, but the only difference was that each of these people had their arms and legs cuffed to the seat in front of them and they wore inmate uniforms. One of these people was currently looking out the window at a particular boy who just exited the main school building with a girl and a surprised expression on his face. The sight of the boy's face made her heart quicken with happiness making the chains on her body rattle as her feet and arms moved up and down, 'Finally, we can be together~ We can finally touch and spend all our lives together in harmony~ You are mine and mine alone~ If anyone dares touch you, I will kill them~' the person thought chuckling to themself with a wide smile.
