Lying on the bed, Wang Ye closed his eyes and looked at the attribute list in his mind. In the skill list, there was one more skill than before.

This was added when Wang Ye went out for a run on the night of the system’s awakening. That night, after transforming into a skill, Wang Ye ran three kilometers twice.

However, he only gained one experience point that night because he wanted to experiment on the second trip and stopped midway, so the system did not give him any experience points for that trip.

He went to his hometown the day before yesterday and even though he ran three kilometers in the morning and three kilometers in the evening, he didn’t have time to run during the day. He made two more trips yesterday morning and then arrived at the armed forces department. Until now, he has had no time to run and gain experience.

Wang Ye actually wanted to try and see what effect it would have before he joined the army, but reality didn’t allow it. Time was too tight. However, Wang Ye was not in a hurry. The army would not lack jogging or folding blankets, as expected they would start tomorrow.

With these thoughts in mind, Wang Ye began to calm down and prepare to sleep, although it was difficult to really calm down. After all, he was still thinking about how to complete the system’s mission. However, he had been on the move the whole day, and as he thought about it, Wang Ye fell asleep.

“What time is it?”

The first floor of the recruit company was not arranged for new recruits to live in. Currently, the light from the street lamp outside shone on a door on the left side of the first floor. Kang Hua, the instructor, stood at the door and smiled, “4:20!”

“Okay, that’s about it. I’ll be done soon. Go back to sleep!” Wu Jianfeng quickly gathered his things and left.

“Deal! Take it easy, you bunch of young masters who just left home!” The instructor smiled and said softly.

“Bullshit!” The captain grinned and scolded softly, “If we’re not ruthless, how can we make them accept reality? It’s just that I know that they just left home, so I have to be even more ruthless.”

“Alright, leave this to me. Go back quickly. A ‘good person’ like you shouldn’t appear today!”

“Got it, got it. I’ll leave now.” The instructor didn’t waste any time and headed back to his dormitory.

In order to deal with this group of new recruits, the recruit company had long had a fixed process.

There was a bad guy who was in charge of training and a good guy who was in charge of thinking and working as everyone’s psychiatrist.

There was no doubt that Wu Jianfeng was the black face here, and the white face was the instructor.

He closed the door and stuffed a pair of headphones into his ears. The moment he lay back on the bed, an ear-piercing whistle suddenly erupted outside.

“Shh!”

“Shh! Shh! Shh…”

The long and short whistle pierced through the silent night sky, waking up most of the recruits in the dormitory.

“Ah!”

“What’s wrong?”

The originally quiet recruit company dormitory building was woken up by the sharp blasts from the whistle.

Everyone was at a loss.

In Class Five, Wang Ye was the same. He was awakened by the whistle and immediately sat up. “Where is the whistling coming from?”

“Damn, has anyone checked the Northeast brother? He’s not homesick, is he?” After someone woke up, he recalled the scene before he fell asleep and immediately poked his head out to see if it was the guy in his dormitory.

However, there was no time for everyone to look for the source of the whistle because Ye Sanshi’s voice sounded in the next second. “Get up, get up. Emergency assembly. Quickly put on your clothes and get up!”

At this moment, it was not just Class 5. All the class leaders were in the dormitory, shouting for the new recruits to quickly assemble. For these new recruits who had just joined the army, some of them might have heard of this term, but they had never experienced it before.

Actually, no one knew how to distinguish this whistle. But all of this did not matter. They couldn’t understand the whistle. The class leaders were all in the dormitory, so they could shout.

“Ah? Emergency assembly?”

“Did something happen?”

The recruits were a little dazed in the dormitory. Some of them were still sitting on the bed, and someone was even still lying down.

It was December, and even though they were in the south, the temperature at night was at most 10 degrees Celsius in the solar calendar. The blanket was warm, and it took courage and perseverance to get up.

“Why are you asking so much nonsense? Get up, get up!”

Ye Sanshi flew into a rage. His expression and tone were different from last night’s. He even pulled Deng Hai’s head when he saw him lying under the blanket in the next bed. Deng Hai’s eyes were closed and he did not move at all.

He had his clothes draped over his shoulders and didn’t even button them up. He reached out and grabbed Deng Hai’s blanket and flung it forcefully.

“You’re crazy!”

Deng Hai immediately sat up from the bed because this guy was actually sleeping in a pair of underpants.

At this moment, the blanket was torn off and fell to the ground. He was half-naked and was hugged by the sudden chill.

“All of you, get up! I’ll give you ten seconds. After ten seconds, whoever hasn’t gotten up, you can try!” Ye Sanshi’s tone was harsh, and he didn’t care about Deng Hai’s fury.

In the blink of an eye, ten seconds passed, and everyone in Class Five was up and getting dressed. Even Deng Hai, who had his blanket thrown on the ground, was busy putting on his clothes.

He didn’t confront Ye Sanshi. Perhaps he had that thought at first, but Ye Sanshi ignored him. He was wearing only his underwear. There was no blanket on the bed, and it was cold, so he picked up the clothes and pants beside the pillow and put them on.

“Sorry bro…I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”

Wang Ye had already stood up with Ye Sanshi when he first shouted, and now he was sitting on the bed, quickly putting on his clothes and pants. Suddenly, a foot came down from the upper bunk and stepped on Wang Ye’s thigh. “It’s okay. Hurry up and put on your clothes!” Wang Ye said quickly, ignoring the pain.

Although this fellow was neither light nor heavy, it hurt a little.

However, Wang Ye didn’t have the time to care about this.

This was the chance to show his strength!

He knew in advance those noodles and the soaking of feet was just a ruse.

It was an ungodly hour, and it was still so dark outside the window. Even if the sun rose late in winter, it would definitely not be past six o’clock. Glancing at his watch with the help of the light from the street lamps that came in through the window, Wang Ye saw that it was a little short of 4:30. “Animal! He woke everyone up so early. He didn’t even go to bed until almost midnight last night,” he thought to himself.

But there was no time to dwell on this. Wang Ye didn’t button his clothes. After putting them on, he went under the bed to touch his shoes.

Another 30 seconds passed.

“Report, I’m done!”

In the panicking dormitory, a voice suddenly sounded. Ye Sanshi, who had just put on his shoes, was stunned. However, when he saw Wang Ye standing in front of him, his originally sullen face relaxed a little.
