Chapter 2: New World

I opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling, it wasn't the one of my house, I was sure of it.

"Where the hell am I? Was that dream real...?"

I got out of the bed and looked at the room around me, it was smaller then the one in my house and it was mainly composed of a desk with a computer looking object on it and a mirror, aside from that there weren't any other furnitures.

I approached the mirror to look at my appearance, if I was reincarnated it means that I got a new body right?

But...

"SERIOUSLY?" I shouted.

I looked exactly the same as I did in my previous life, I looked a bit younger but my face and height were still painfully average.

Then all of a sudden the door of my room opened and a young woman with blonde hair hurried inside of it, she had a phone in her hand.

"Why are you shouting again loser?" she said.

I was so confused by all of this that I couldn't speak at first.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHERE AM I?" I finally answered by asking two more questions.

She looked at me with a disgusted face as if I was crazy then left the room.

Calm down Kaine, you just got transported to another world so it's obvious that you don't know what's happening.

Glancing at the computer on my desk and remembering the fact the blonde girl had a phone, I guess I was transported to a world where technology is fairly present.

But wait, doesn't it mean I can just check the information I need?

"YEAHHHH!" I screamed in joy.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP LOSER" a feminine voice answered from downstairs, I already knew who it was.

"Damn it..."

The computer was password locked and I don't remember what it is as I just arrived here.

I walked down the stairs to the living room and saw the blonde girl sitting on the sofa, she was eating potato chips while playing on her phone, this feels so weird seeing someone you don't know act so casual in the place where you live.

"My parents want to talk to you about the academy later" she said without even looking at me.

"Ok...?" I don't know what she was talking about but if it gave me information then I'll gladly talk, "when are your parents coming back...?"

"In an hour or two, they went outside for something."

I guess in the mean time I should familiarize myself with the new surroundings.

The house was not that big as opposed as to what I thought, it looked like a house for am average family.

But the thing that surprised me the most was when the girl pointed at something at the kitchen counter and the snack went flying into her hand.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" I didn't wanna anger her again so I just internally shouted that.

After an hour or so, the front door opened while I was still exploring and a blond man and woman appeared.

"We're here" the woman announced.

"Mom, dad! Kaine is acting weird again!" the blond bitch told the adults, then for some reason they glared at me.

But atleast it looks like my name in this world is still Kaine...

"Kaine, sit down, we need to talk about your future right now, tomorrow is the big day after all" the man spoke.

"O-ok...?" I don't even who he is but he looked stronger then me so I guess I'll listen.

We all sat down on the couch, well except me, the three blonde members sat on the couch while they gave me a chair to sit on the opposite side.

"Kaine, your parents died when you were little and we've been taking care of you ever since, but I feel like we can't do it anymore."

Huh?

"Tomorrow is the academy's entrance exam, go take it, if you fail then we have nothing to do with you anymore."

HUH?

"Wait... what academy?" I asked

"Freesia Academy duh?"

"WHAT?" I got up from the chair with a devastated look on my face.

"I know it's all weird and out of nowhere but understand we need to focus on Clara's future right now." he revealed his daughter's name but I didn't care.

No... I wasn't confused about the fact they are sending me somewhere unknown, but it's the fact I actually know this place.

Freesia Academy is the name of the school where the main character of "Descent of the Heavenly Demon" studies, and the place where half of the plot occurs.

"W-wait, can't I stay here just a little more?"

"No, pack your bags, you're taking the train to the academy tomorrow" the man was ruthless.

Hell fucking no, the academy of the country of Freesia is the best one in the world but also the most dangerous one, i'm not gonna be able to enter as the entrance exam is super hard and even if I do, it's gonna be filled with weird and dangerous people.

"BUT I DON'T EVEN HAVE POWERS!" I knew I had the hatred system but I don't know how to use it, any excuse is good for now.

"We know, and that's why we can't let you stay here, people without powers are useless."

These words sounded weird to me, I don't know why, but I got angry.

And as I began to see red because of the anger, something appeared infront of me.

I climbed the stairs and took a luggage that was placed in my closet, looks like they really wanted me to go.

"My life really sucks..."

The member of the family all looked at the stairs as they saw Kaine climbing them.

"Good riddance" the man, also named David, said.

"Calm down dear, we can't reveal we just were tired of his presence in the house" his wife, Byul, replied.

"Mom, dad?" Clara called out their names.

""Yes, dear?""

"Do you guys think Kaine has a chance to pass the entrance exam?"

"Bahahaha, not a single chance, it's not the best academy in the world for no reason! Also he has no powers so he might be kicked as soon as he tries to enter!" the man roared in a comical voice.

"Yeah... and we're gonna be able to see it on TV right?" Byul added.

And they were right, the Freesia academy's entrance exam is so popular in the world that it is broadcasted for the entertainment of those who wanna watch it and for those who wanna see their close ones try their best to succeed.

Some people even put real money on who they think will qualify.

I could hear the family speak about me and the entrance exam, what they said was completely right but it doesn't change the fact that i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place now.

I packed some clothes in my luggage and noticed I didn't have a phone.

"These fuckers didn't even buy one for me..."

After finishing everything, I sat on my bed and thought about my future plans.

Daemon is the protagonist of "Descent of the Heavenly Demon", he is a handsome and famous man that will save the country many times but will also sacrifice alot of people in the process, all the girls fawn over him and the guys all respect him.

Basically, he is a terrifying person I never wanna meet.

I have massive knowledge about how the novel will go, but I don't have the time or the money to go look for some of these items and objects that are important.

If I don't pass the entrance exam, i'll basically be homeless, I can't afford to have a garbage in here too.

I am currently located in Freesia, one of the eight countries in this world but the most populated one.

The capital city of Freesia is the same as the name of the country and where the academy is.

It's a beautiful and majestic place with many high towers and skyscrapers, the buildings are almost all made of white marble and gold.

There is a central area called "the core" which is where the richest and most famous people in the country live, and where the academy is located.

"This is gonna be hard... but I also have some sort of power right?"

I have the hatred system, the main problem is how to use it, I don't have a tutorial or anything.

As I kept pondering of all the different things I need to do to avoid the protagonist, the antangonists and the heroines, I noticed that the sun was already down.

I didn't have the time to worry about where I am and how I ended up here.

The only thing I currently know is that there is not a single chance i'm gonna die after going through all of this.

And with these thoughts as my motivation, I fell into a deep slumber, one that would be greatly needed for what was possibly coming next.
