Dominator with Endless Level-up System

Chapter 6

C6 – Little Green Insect

“Hey there, little caterpillar, where do you think you’re going?”

Lee Tian, armed with a scythe, was in hot pursuit of a little green caterpillar that was frantically wriggling along a tree branch.

The caterpillar was painfully aware of the horror of the ant with mantis-like arms on its trail. Desperate to escape the deadly slice of the black ant’s blade, it pushed forward with all its might.

But alas, Lee Tian quickly caught up. With a wicked grin, he raised his scythe and mercilessly sliced the adorable, pitiful caterpillar into three segments!

Following the system’s upgrade notification, Lee Tian underwent a transformation, growing significantly in size.

He was now nearly as large as a mantis.

At a glance, he bore an uncanny resemblance to a ‘mutated’ black mantis.

With his newfound scythes, hunting insects had become a breeze for Lee Tian.

In just a few days, he had swiftly ascended from Low Rank Level 1 to Level 4 by relentlessly preying on smaller insects.

True to his word, he was the master of his domain within the insect realm of the forest.Read lat𝙚st chapters at nov(𝒆)lbin.com Only

After devouring the little caterpillar, Lee Tian stretched languidly and settled into a cozy nook on the branch to sleep.

His soul was still human, after all, and he preferred the comfort of lying down to rest.

Dappled sunlight filtered through the leaves, bathing Lee Tian in warmth, even within the realm of dreams.

But suddenly, why did the air turn bone-chillingly cold?

And what were those eerie sounds echoing around him?

Sensing something amiss, Lee Tian snapped his eyes open to a wall of green obstructing his view.

Blinking away the haze, he muttered, “Little caterpillar, have you gotten bigger?”

A faint hiss echoed from above.

Lee Tian’s gaze shot upwards, and his heart skipped a beat. “Holy smokes, a green snake!”

It wasn’t the little caterpillar before him, but a Great Green Snake, coiled menacingly at his side, its neck arched as it flicked its forked tongue.

Staring at the colossal green snake capable of crushing him with its sheer mass, Lee Tian’s heart raced with fear. “This is it. I’ve had my reign over the insects, but I’m no match for this creature!”

“No, wait a minute!”

There was something off about this green snake that caught his attention.

The odd feeling he had was that the green snake didn’t seem interested in eating him. Otherwise, wouldn’t he be long gone by now?

Lee Tian took a closer look at the snake’s body and noticed its abdomen was unusually swollen, looking as if it had a large lump. The lump’s shape was suspiciously rodent-like!

“It must have just eaten a big rat. That explains why it’s not after me,” Lee Tian breathed a sigh of relief.

A snake could go several days without food after consuming a mouse, which is why Lee Tian had not become its meal.

Apparently, the green snake had its fill with a mouse and was now here to soak up the sun.

And the sunlight was indeed splendid where Lee Tian stood.

As expected, the Great Green Snake shifted to find a comfortable position, then gradually relaxed its raised neck and became motionless on the branch, seemingly fast asleep.

Once the green snake was completely still, Lee Tian exhaled in relief, ready to sneak away.

But just as he was about to climb over the snake and make his escape, a daring thought struck him.

He turned back and eyed the seventh inch of the green snake’s body.
