 Chapter 816  Salamander The Coward

Governor Momoa was taken aback by the sudden arrival of the giant serpent, especially by the strange aura it carried. However, this did not mean that he was going to back off.

Summoning his Cosmic energy, which blazed like a flame in his right hand, he rushed into battle against the serpent.

Lenny only took a look at their confrontation, which occurred between the two, and then he looked away.

Governor Momoa was a very tough opponent. Even though he was injured, he was still a peak Great Demon existence and should not be underestimated.

But Lenny believed that Kill could handle the Governor. After all, the serpent's skin was not even made of flesh.

Of course, since his bonding with the serpents, they now took energy and sustenance from him, it still did not matter. Kill would do a very good job.

The very first time Lenny had come to this city, he had come as a slave and was treated like one, having to fight in the Arena for his life.

However, today was different. He was coming as something else entirely.

He had arrived as its end.

"Steal, come forth!"

Upon giving the order, the serpent Steal materialized from thin air, coiling about Lenny affectionately.

"Take every drop of blood from every demon, human, devil, slave, rodent, and cockroach in this city!"

The serpent, having heard the order, increased in size as it flew into the air.

Soon, it was the size of a skyscraper, and then, its mouth wide open.

Upon seeing the sudden arrival of the serpent, the demons going about their daily activities all paused and looked in the same direction.

Many were perplexed by this, and some thought maybe it was Governor Momoa conducting another experiment.

After all, the Governor had done very crazy things in the past. Others thought maybe it was the visit of a very important person.

Nevertheless, it caused many demons to murmur amongst themselves. There were those that even began celebrating.

And then, the flesh of the giant serpent opened up all over its body, becoming like the holes of a bee's hive. It was at this moment that it happened.

A sonic boom went out from its body in consecutive waves.

Instantly, all the creatures it came across felt their blood vessels bloat up, and then blood suddenly poured out from their orifices. And then...

*BOOM!* *BOOM!*

They burst in a shower of their own blood.

All around, the demons, young, old, traders, passersby, they all burst in a shower of their own blood.

As they burst, the blood that came out flowed in the air to meet the serpent, gathering into a giant ball of blood just above the serpent's mouth.

This was Steal's magic.

Anything below that of its master was subject to meet its end.

In this manner, they continued to blow up. Realizing that their end had come, there were those who ran in fear, and those who tried to hide, but it was of no use.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*

Basket Face looked outside the window of the highest building, looking down at what was happening below. Before the wave could reach him, however, he waved his hand as he cast upon his body a profound technique that immediately turned his body to water, flowing into the nearest drainage.

He was lucky that he did this in time, too. Because his end would have been assured.

Unfortunately, not all the demons of Waterfall Town were that smart.

There were those in the Arena, screaming and cheering for the half-borns that fought for their lives, hailing them to continue killing.

All of a sudden, the waves reached them, and they burst into pools of blood.

This included the humans fighting for their lives.

Those underneath, deep within the arena, experienced the same fate.

Lenny's order to Steal encompassed it all.

His eyes widened in surprise.

He tried to rush for the city but was instantly stopped by Kill, who rushed to his front.

Meanwhile, as Governor Momoa fought Kill, he saw what was happening in his city, and it made him pause.

He was not going anywhere without first defeating the serpent.

Lenny, on the other hand, was not a respecter of man or beast. The entire city was his target, and he was taking it all. After all, he had to prepare for that place.

Lenny remembered that on Judas, common rules did not apply because the Wandering City was its own sub-plane.

This time around, he did not have Coco with his million devils to provide blood.

Lenny was going to take the entire city as his armor.

Lenny flew through the city with his hands behind his back. He did not look like he was in a hurry and certainly did not care for the bloody explosions happening all around him.

Instead, he had his eyes

 far ahead, on the tallest building in the city.

This building, shaped like a cone, was the source of the dome covering the entire city.

Aside from its shape, it looked like any other building. However, through Appraiser, Lenny saw otherwise.

He stopped before the building. "Are you going to continue pretending to be a captured Hell beast, or are you going to reveal yourself to me?"

Lenny spoke up, his voice loud, drowning out all the explosions happening around him.

However, nothing happened.

Lenny sighed as he raised his hand, and forms of giant swords made out of magic formed in the air.

There were hundreds of them.

"I'll ask one more time. Show yourself to me... Salamander the Coward!"

(Author's note: Thanks for the Reviews guys. I saw a recent review and it said that lenny feels a bit artificial for finding and losing his humanity a couple of times. however, I don't think so. Life is filled with ups and downs, and the environment makes the man. people become cruel or kind as a result of the environment on their lives. Even successful men are not always successful but have a lot of success that covers up the Failures. As long as the goal remains, and more success accumulates, the goal shall be reached. In Lenny's case, he is still a mad man. But at the end of the day, he is still a man. Understand that mistakes will be made, but he will never stop pushing... Thank you very much.
