Chapter 7: Tearful Reunion

The light died down as a beautiful, short, yet curvy figure stepped out of the light. The figure exuded motherly love and was pleasing to the senses.

Jay swallowed hard as the new goddess came into full view. He stared for a minute before whispering,"My love is back.."

The new goddess looked at Jay with a curious and slightly odd twinkle in her eyes. Her eyes widened as she came to a realization about something. She looked at Jay with slightly fearful eyes and asked,"Jay? Where the hell are we? What happened at the store? Why is my mind telling me that your my father and that I'm a God of love?!"

Both Jay and Phineas gasped at this proclamation. Jay was ecstatic and rushed to her, embracing her in what felt like the most cathartic hug ever.

Jay pulled away after she continued struggling and asked,"Is it really you my love? Did I truly bring you back from the grave?"

The goddess was stunned at this news and said,"I died?" while swallowing hard. Updat𝒆d fr𝒐m nov𝒆lb(i)n.c(o)m

Jay continued to comfort as he mentally summoned a bench for them to sit on as Phineas stood by and watched with his mouth hung open, flabbergasted.

Jay slowly talked to her, saying,"That night, the robber came into the gas station. He brandished his pistol at Stelara, and you managed to step in front of her moments before he fired. You were struck in your abdomen, and the bullet logged into your lungs, eventually causing your death."

Jay sighed and melancholically said,"I have replayed that moment in my mind hundred of thousands if not millions of times, wishing that it had been me to take that bullet instead. I was a coward in that moment and froze under the pressure, eventually dooming you in the process.." Jay started to cry into his hands as all the repressed feelings finally seeped out. "I had to try so hard for so long to get over your death, and just when it was getting better, Stelara contracted a tumor and died of a cancerous tumor in her brain stem. Both of the people I loved! Taken from me in a cruel twist of fate! Both times in my life, I could do nothing as the people in my life withered and died in front of my eyes."

Jay was openly sobbing as he confessed his sins to this new sub God.

The sub God, also disheveled and crying uncontrollably finally was able to say something. But instead she simply turned, grabbed Jay's face and kissed him passionately while giving him a big hug.

She separated from and their tear soaked faces stares at each other for a few seconds. Finally she said,"I love you. I am sorry you had to go through that. I don't know how you did it, but I am glad we get to be together again."

She suddenly noticed Phineas standing and her reddened at she thought about this man viewing their passionate display of emotions. She asked Jay,"So, who's the farmer dude?"

Phineas at this point had composed himself and walked up to her and bowed curtly. He Introduced himself,"My name is Phineas, God of Agriculture m'lady"

She looked at Jay and asked,"Ok, now I definitely don't understand what's going on..."

Jay chuckled and then recounted everything he had learned thus far to her, which she eagerly listened too. She smiled and said,"Well Phineas, I guess that means I am the Goddess of Love. Nice to meet you, my name is Sol. Like the sun!"

Phineas bowed and said,"Pleased to make your acquaintance." Phineas turned to Jay and said seriously,"Father, what you have just done is called 'Soul Call'. This is where you can invision a person or creature and recreate them detail for detail, or simply put, pull their soul from their bodies or dead plane and into the clone. Not only is this skill EXTREMELY rare, it also very illegal among other gods and considered one of the worst taboos a God can touch upon. Please exercise extreme caution with your natural ability to use this technique, as if it discovered it will only bring you trouble!"

Jay took this advice seriously and then had a thought in his head. And after confirming it in his mind one more time, he decided on his next course of action.

Jay then said,"I understand. I have taken your words very seriously, and I promise to never use this technique again after today."

Phineas' eyes narrowed and asked,"After today? Not immediately?"

Jay shook his head and said,"No. There is one more person who I will bring into my realm. After that, this will never be used again, I promise."

Phineas eyes widened and he practically shouted back, but held back in restraint and simply said,"Father, who could possibly be important enough to warrant such reckless behavior?!"

Jay looked at Sol and smiled. Sol seemed to have something click in her mind as she realized what was happening. She cried out,"I get to see my baby again?!"

Jay got up from the bench and the once again crying Sol and approached Phineas. Jay said to him,"I know it is probably hard for you to understand, but the planet is named Stelara. That alone shows how much I love her."

Sol now started bawling again as she said through tears,"oh God! He named the planet after her memory! She'll probably be so embarrassed!" She chuckled a little at the last part.

Jay walked back to the machine and entered into the creation space. His mind was now set on one singular goal. His focus and intent tightened as the template sections popped up again. He chose human God, girl, and paid 5 GP for the God of Youth title. He wanted her to be able to interact and play with children all over the future of this planet and possible future planets.
