Levi walked into the cave where his mate was due to give birth. During the 3 years that they had been mates she had gone and collected what was left of her tribe and brought them back to the area ruled by Levi. As he walked into the main room, he saw Mu's father, Cha Ger sitting next to his daughter while other clansmen milled about and did duties in preparation.

Levi growled,"Everybody out.."

Everyone in the room looked at Levi and were confused as he had always treated them with respect and kindness and in return they did all he asked of them. Yet he came into the cave after many hours and it seems he was angry rather than happy about his children being born!

Levi saw everyone not moving and shouted in a thunderous voice,"GET OUT NOW!!!"

No one needed to be told a third time as everyone quickly dropped what they were doing and rushed out of the room. Cha Ger looked at Mu Stang with a very confused look plastered on his face. Mu shook her head as she didn't know either.

Levi turned to Cha and said,"You as well. There is something we must speak about in private."

Cha took the hint and hurriedly raced out as fast as hooves could take him!

Mu stared at Levi and then put a hoof on his chest and started to stroke it the way he liked as she asked,"My mate, what is it that troubles you so? I have not seen you angry since the Fenrir when we first met.."

Levi had pain in his eyes as he sat down. Before he could even start he was already starting to tear up and cry again. In this moment Levi did not feel like a God. He could do nothing but succumb to fate.

Mu saw this visible change from anger to pure grief and instantly knew something was terribly wrong. Before she ask, Levi said,"Mu, my father, the Ultima, has informed me that after our children are born, your body will not be able to handle the birth. He has told me..." tears welled up and started falling uncontrollably,"he told me you will perish, regardless of anything either he or I could do!"

Mu sat there stun locked and the only thing she managed to get out was,"a.. a-and.. and the children?"

Levi started to weep even more as he sputtered out,"They will become some of the most powerful creatures on the planet and will stay like that for quite some time most likely, however they will harness an energy that cannot interact with my own or their will be dire consequences for both them and I!"

Mu at this point also felt reality set in as she realized that she was heading straight for death, and there was nothing anybody could do about it, even the gods...

Mu took a shaky breath after crying for what felt like hours with Levi. But after many hours of grief, the two knew there was no avoiding fate.

Levi called Cha back into the room 7 hours after he had kicked him out. That was how long it took for Mu and Levi to come to terms with their ultimate fate.

Levi explained the situation to Cha and much like before he started grieving which caused the other two to also start grieving again, but at a much more controlled 30 minutes. Then there were the various members attending to the birth as they needed to know that this birth was anything but normal.

Levi never left Mu's side until the last contractions, where he was then forced to leave before his wife had passed and before his children would be born, never truly knowing who they were and who they came from.

53 hours into her delivery, Mu gave birth to 1 healthy baby boy Unicorn Pegasus, and over the next 3 hours had 3 more follow him, with three girls and only 1 boy. The people attending to the birth would see the children being birthed emitting dazzling lights from all over their bodies but mainly their horns. The new children, weak as they were, almost immediately tried to start flying, to disastrous effects.

Mu had gotten noticeably weaker with every child that was birthed and was deteriorating at a rapid rate now that all the children were our.

She pulled her father in close and said to him,"Father, I am destined for the heavenly field. I know it will be hard, but raise our children well, they are my only pride in this world."

Cha hurriedly asked his daughter,"Mu, what are their names? Name them before you pass to cement your legacy within them!"

Mu didn't even need to think about it, and spoke out,"Justice Darklight... Peaceful Darklight... Willpower Darklight... Karma Darklight..."

As of they understood, all four Pegasi neighed in passionate acceptance. New novel chaptš¯’†rs are published on novel(b)in(.)com

Mu smiled and the last words she ever heard were,"Run now to the Heavenly fields my child, may you forever be free in death." 4 minutes after giving birth to the last Pegasus child, Mu Stang, mother of the future pillars of Justice and Honor, passed suddenly from thus world. She was lost now, but she would never be forgotten.

Jay watched on in anguish. But there was nothing he could do. Fate was an important part of life, and the only reason he had even told Levi about his mates condition was because he wished to keep those kids safe. They were basically his grandchildren.

Jay already bent his own rules by even informing Levi of the situation. But Jay knew the pain of losing someone you loved dearly, and thus bent the rules so that he would be prepared, even if it was the devastating news that he had.

Jay felt tears he didn't think he had left to cry slowly seep out of his eyes. All he could say while wiping his tears was,"I'm so sorry Levi, I'm still not a good enough father for you..."
