The host can now absorb life energy from dead bodies either killed by the host or not for now due to the extremely weak level of gene.

"Good..." Zeras nodded satisfactorily. With Dash increased to level 2, it can directly increase his speed to triple his normal speed stats which has been even more improved than before due to leveling up to level 3.

His eyes narrowed looking at the Chaos Devourer. He chose to increase this one due to it being mainly responsible for his increase in strength.

And that is due to its ability to devour the life essence of those he killed to increase his energy.

But now, it seems the limitation of having to kill the personally killed person has been removed and he could now absorb the life essence of any corpse.

Zeras clicked his tongue as he thought of what he could do with this ability when he was in that base with corpses of more than 1000 experimental subjects. He would have an almost unlimited amount of energy.

Besides, he also didn't absorb the life energy of the Base Head that he killed due to exhaustion.

But there was something strange Zeras noticed.

When he absorbed the life essence of that figure responsible for disposing of the corpse. He was given only 5 points on energy.

But when he absorbed the life essence of those scientists at the beast experimentation lab who possessed D-grade genes, he was given 10 points in energy.

Does that mean the stronger the Gene of those he killed, the greater the energy points he will possess?

If so, now that he didn't need to necessarily kill himself. Then he could just waltz into the cemetery of very strong people and absorb their life essence, quickly increasing his energy to an impossible amount.

Assuming he had absorbed the life essence of Chris, then he would have been able to verify, but it wasn't too late anyway. He could do that some other time.

With the system out of the way, the next thing was preparing for the EIA trial test which will be happening just a week from now.

Zeras jumped down the bed as he moved towards the door where he dropped the books.

Moving towards the sofa, he sat down on it as he slowly took up one of the books. Looking at the cover it was titled:

--In The Year 3016, The Earth underwent a change that changed the foundation of the world forever.

Scientists tagged it: The Great Evolution.

By some mysterious force that has been unexplained by science till today, Earth has forcefully shifted away from the Milky Way Galaxy.

The energy from this new Galaxy invaded Earth which caused it to change as every being in it underwent evolution.

Strange new genomes which were somehow undiscovered before, were awakened by the energy, which was called Mana.

After years of experimentation, humans finally learned to harness this energy, greatly improving their strength and even managed to apply it in technology causing a great era of positive change for all Humans.

But the question remained, what lies in this new galaxy?

Traveling out from the earth. Humans met with their first aliens. A group of beings called Cydorfs.

The first meeting between Cydorfs and Humans didn't go well causing a war to immediately blow up between both groups.

Humans need to be united as one to fight off these invaders and so the first Human Alliance group was created.

The group EIA was created.

With Earth gathered together as one, the war between Cydorfs and Humans raged on with the Humans winning in the end.

But instead of killing off all the Cydorfs, Humans entered into a deal with them.

The Cydorfs were an Alien group who were present in this Galaxy and therefore had more understanding of Mana and information about this new Galaxy.

Therefore, a deal was set up, the Cydorfs would be a subordinate of EIA instead of being outright wiped off while they share their information about Mana and the New Galaxy with Humans.

The EIA remained even after the war, their purpose widening to regulate the control of all Gene awakeners while also being responsible for fighting off alien groups, and making friends while also destroying foes.

Because of their very important mission, only the most powerful gene awakeners are accepted to join and their tests are the most difficult to pass.

They are a group holding only the most powerful Gene Awakeners and also a diverse group of Alien life forms within their rank.

They are the Ultimate Guardians of Earth.
