Chapter 445 – Cathulhu Online, MUNYA!

On a dark star without sun, no one could differentiate daytime and nighttime. However, several entities lived there.

"This sucks, really."

At the edge of a 100-diameter crater, a white-winged angel deeply sighed and gazed at the pit in front of him. He slid down the crater and reached the bottommost of the pit. Then, he lifted the large burning boulder and tossed it away. After the boulder was gone, he pulled up the legs of a certain white cat, who got buried under the rock. 

"Mu-Nyang, what happened to you? You were a lot stronger when I still had dementia."

Mu-Nyang cried and protested at Xiaomao, "Master, you're a bully, munya! This is supposed to be sparring. Why did you use the transcended domain, munya?!"

"I didn't use any domain. I just created a gravity field under you, and a meteor accidentally got pulled to your location."

"Your gravity spell is unreasonable, munya! Every time you used it, a dark matter appeared, munya!"

"Oh? It did?"

"Of course, munya!"

Mu-Nyang was enraged. He kept slapping his master's face with his small paws. On the other hand, Xiaomao laughed and accepted his punishment.

The duo got back to the surface. Xiaomao lightly tapped the tip of his feet to the ground, and the soil automatically covered the crater.

When Xiaomao and Mu-Nyang came out of the crater, they looked up and found a meadow. Mu-Nyang jumped down and sprinted toward the large lake 500 meters away.

By the lake, a large family sat on a square mat, having a picnic party. A green-haired mermaid, a blue-haired mermaid, a blond small succubus, a dragonewt maid, a dog woman, a seductive scylla, and a refined blond Oni sat together and carried their infant children in their arms. A pair of small Cathulhus were also playing in the lake with seven of their small children.

Wei Zhi, Undine, Nymph, Lucky, Alice, Madoka, and Amon each looked over their sons and daughters. Miao Damao and Miao Katerina, the two Cathulhus, also expanded their family size and had three kids.

Mu-Nyang rushed to his biological parents – Damao and Katerina. He reported what Xiaomao did to him.

"Dad, Mom! Master bullies me again, munya. You must scold him for me, munya!"

Miao Damao laughed and patted Mu-Nyang's head. Katerina also licked the troublemaker's forehead to console him. When Xiaomao arrived, the parents turned toward their son.

"Lord Xiaomao. Although you are also our master, we were once your parents when we were in Mu-Nyang's dantian universe. So technically, you and Mu-Nyang are siblings. Please stop bullying him, munya."

Xiaomao brightly smiled. He picked up the three cats and hugged them.

"I'm so sorry, Dad, Mom. I won't do it again. But Mu-Nyang has been naughty. I end up working alone to restore our home planet while he did nothing but eat and sleep. He also doesn't try to restore my previous body anymore."

Mu-Nyang raised his paws and slapped Xiaomao again, "That's because you're now stronger than your previous self, munya! What's the point of restoring that old physique when you've surpassed the transcended stage, munya?"

"Having backup bodies doesn't hurt anyone."

"But you will make me work for nothing, munya!"

Mu-Nyang kept kicking, biting, and slapping Xiaomao non-stop. The latter was never angry at the cat. Instead, he loved getting hit.

"Mew!"

"Nya!"

"Meo!"

The children of Damao and Katerina flocked around Xiaomao, trying to climb on his pants to get to their parents. Two of them were the reincarnation of Nyanko, Mama Cat, and Mir.

Xiaomao put the three Cathulhus down and let the children reunite with their parents. He patted Damao and Katerina's heads before he bullied Mu-Nyang by scratching the bottom of his tail.

"No! Not there, munya! Uugh. Ah… Ahn!"

Mu-Nyang moaned like a porn actress, causing the others to laugh.

After the picnic party, Xiaomao lay on the grass next to Lucky. Mu-Nyang coiled into a ball and slept on top of Xiaomao's chest, enjoying his warmth. The former looked up to the starry sky of the universe that he belonged. He thought about the past when he was the overlord of this star and when he got stuck in Mu-Nyang's dantian universe.

That day was Lucky's schedule to have Xiaomao all to herself. She also gazed at the star while she held on Xiaomao's hand, reminiscing about her past as a galactic overlord.

From her perspective, time really flew by. She still vividly remembered the day Xiaomao converted her from a gnoll general into his slave like it was yesterday. The memory of her previous life when she was the wolf lord also returned, and it overlapped with the new life's memory.

Lucky didn't care about her wolf overlord's life anymore. She was satisfied with her current status. Moreover, she gave birth to Xiaomao's cute puppy girl that looked exactly like her and a cat boy with angel wings.

Her life was perfect. She didn't need anything else.

Lucky's left hand reached out to touch a star in the sky, "I was really stupid back then. I thought I was the most powerful being in the universe. Turned out I was a pushover."

Xiaomao laughed, "Everyone eventually has that moment in life. Sometimes, you've got to face the harsh reality to get sober. It's better to experience that when you're still young to lessen the damage, though."

"I learned that too late, didn't I?"

"Haha, the higher you fall, the more pain. But look at it on the bright side, even trillion-year-old geezers like us can always learn new stuff every day. It's a matter of mindset, actually. As long as you can discard your vain pride and become an empty glass like you are now, you'll find yourself enjoying every little that comes into your life. Like now…"

Xiaomao flipped over and got on top of her. He lewdly grinned, "Want another baby?"

Lucky giggled and stroked Xiaomao's cheek. She slowly pulled him into a kiss.

Unfortunately, they forgot about someone.

"Master bullies me again, munya! Waaaah!"

Mu-Nyang, who had been sleeping on top of Xiaomao, got flung off his master's chest and rolled on the ground. He wailed like a baby.

Xiaomao and Lucky giggled. They stopped their sexy time and hugged the cat, "I'm so sorry, Mu-Nyang. It was an accident."

"WAH! You're a cruel master! I want stellar star salmon as an apology, munya!"

"…"

Xiaomao shook his head. He kissed Mu-Nyang's head and sighed.

"Alright, big baby boy."

With just a snap of his fingers, a moon-sized salmon appeared and crash-landed on the grassland 1,000 kilometers away from their location. It came from Xiaomao's dantian universe, which he had raised to be Mu-Nyang's food.

"YAY!"

Mu-Nyang vanished and reappeared on top of the salmon. He began nom-nomming the dead fish in glee.

Lucky and Xiaomao couldn't stop laughing at the cat. Then, they looked at each other.

"Shall we continue?"

"Hehe, you kinky."

They kissed and slowly stripped each other's clothes, acting like they were newlywed couples.

One day on Earth was 24 hours. However, one day on this star was 5,000 hours, so the night time according to their standard was 2,500 hours.

Lucky and Xiaomao had their fill. They lay on the grass naked, exhausted from the baby-making activities. Around them, the grasses turned white and the soil became wet because of their fluid.

None of them cared about the wet and stinky grasses and soil. They panted and smiled in satisfaction while they gazed at the stars and their hands were interlocked.

"Master, it has been in my mind," Lucky uttered.

"Yeah?"

"You've never told anyone how you died. What happened? I remember that you killed me, but I can't figure out who killed you."

As soon as the topic was brought up, the other six wives of Xiaomao came out from his dantian universe to join the conversation. They had been peeping at them from the inside ever since they started kissing.

Undine asked, "She's right, Xiaomao. You were the strongest entity in the Cathulhu Galaxy. Who killed you?"

Wei Zhi was also baffled, "When we were dating the other day, we ran into 80 transcended beings that tried to abduct me, but you killed them all with one punch. You said you only used the same strength as when you were an entity in your previous life, right? If you were that strong, was there someone stronger than you?"

Xiaomao bitterly smiled. He crossed his arms and sat up, looking at everybody.

"You sure you wanna know?"

Every woman nodded.

"Can you promise me that you won't be disappointed in your husband?"

"We promise!"

"Alright."

Xiaomao coughed and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes to muster his courage. When he opened his eyes, Mu-Nyang, Damao, and Katerina were already next to him, waiting to hear the epic tale. 

Seeing everybody, Xiaomao massaged his temples. His expression was dark as if he was about to be humiliated.

After a long pause, Xiaomao confessed.

"It happened a couple years after I took in Mu-Nyang as my disciple and my son. When Mu-Nyang was asleep one day, I ventured out to the Capital Galaxy of this universe."

Mu-Nyang's eyes glittered. He was excited, "Is it still exist today, munya?"

"It still exists."

"What is its name, munya?"

"The galaxy is called…"

"…"

"Florida Galaxy."

"…"

Everybody was stunned. They had visited Divine Theocracy Earth and heard about the place with the same name. When they heard the name again from Xiaomao's mouth, they started making wild guesses.

"Is the overlord of that galaxy someone from Mu-Nyang's dantian universe?!" Nymph exclaimed.

"That's impossible, munya. I never sent anybody outside except Mao Miaomiao and the master's family. But I do remember that I captured so many weak deities and sages to my universe as livestock, munya."

Alice clapped her hands, "Does that mean, the creator of Divine Theocracy Earth came from Florida Galaxy? Master, does the star names or planet names similar to places on Earth?"

Xiaomao bitterly smiled. He slowly nodded.

"Indeed. There were Texas Solar System, Shanghai Solar System, Moscow Asteroid Ring, and several similar names."

"WHOA!!"

Everybody was amazed. Their interests heightened, and they wanted to hear more.

"Then, the person that killed you…?"

Xiaomao's expression was blank for a moment. He gazed at Mu-Nyang and bitterly smiled.

"Back then, I felt bad for being a single parent for Mu-Nyang, so I went out to find someone to be his mother."

"OOOOHHH!!"

The girls brought out popcorn from their dantian universe. Nymph even wore 3D glasses as she invested in the story, "And?"

"I found a really nice girl. She was also a cat lover, so I thought she was perfect. She had that smooth black long hair, long elf ears, and light-tanned skin. Her face and figure were on par with Diaochan, Devil, and even Wei Yuan. She was a 10!"

Wei Zhi brightly smiled as Xiaomao indirectly complimented her, "OOOOHHH!! And? And?"

"I mustered the courage to talk to her. I managed to find out that her name was CAT."

"OOOOHHH!! And? And?"

"She told me that she served an overlord and worked for a general store. Well, I was curious, so I visited her at her workplace one day to surprise her with a bouquet of flowers."

"OOOOHHH!! And? And?"

Xiaomao paused for a long time. He deeply sighed.

"I was scammed. I discovered her secret. Her age didn't match her appearance."

"Eh?" Everybody had a bad feeling about this.

"Cat was a 10, but she was also 10."

Mu-Nyang, Damao, Katerina, and the seven wives of Xiaomao stared at Xiaomao with blank look.

Nymph whispered to Undine, "Was he a pedo?"

Undine maintained her poker face, "It's the past. SHH."

Xiaomao continued, "When the overlord found out that I was wooing a 10-year-old girl in the body of an adult, he reprimanded me. Although he didn't harm me, I was ashamed."

"…"

"But I didn't give up. Eight years later, I revisited that place again!"

Nymph whispered to Undine, "He WAS a pedo!"

Undine still maintained her poker face, "It's the past. SHH."

While narrating his story, Xiaomao shed a tear, "I discovered her other secret! She was taken!"

Everybody felt a lot better as Xiaomao didn't do anything stupid. Still, they wondered who got that jailbait girl.

"When I saw her again, she already had seven kids!"

"…"

Although Nymph had no idea how long the woman took to deliver a child, she assumed that it might take about a year or so for one kid. She counted her fingers.

Again, Nymph whispered to Undine, "Did she has a kid when she was 11?!"

Undine retained her poker face, but a corner of her mouth was twitching, "It's the past. SHH."

"I was heartbroken, so I visited the Florida Overlord for advice. He sold me something in exchange for almost all of my lifespan. I ran out of lifespan afterward and died."

"…"

That explained everything. Everybody understood why he was ashamed to say anything about it.

He was scammed.

Xiaomao slowly brought out a white pearl, which emitted white light in the dark. He heartily laughed, "Remember what this is?"

"Isn't that?"

Everybody knew the pearl well. After all, they were crucial to their existence.

It was a fate crystal!

Mu-Nyang frowned and gazed at the soul orb for a moment. Then, he widened his eyes as if he noticed something weird.

"M-Master?! Isn't that the… fate crystal, munya?"

Xiaomao nodded, "A completed karmic fate crystal. You're right."

"WHAT?! THIS THING EXISTS IN THIS UNIVERSE TOO, MUNYA?!"

Mu-Nyang thought that the concept of fate crystals only existed in his universe. However, it existed here as well.

It implied one thing. They might still be in someone else's dantian universe!

Xiaomao laughed and explained, "This Karmic Fate Crystal is a higher grade of Entity Fate Crystals, which is an advanced version of Heavenly Fate Crystal. I secretly injected this into my soul when I reincarnated into your dantian universe, Mu-Nyang."

"Eh?"

"I ended up spending almost all of my lifespan to get my hands on it. But thinking back, it was worth it."

The women were at a loss as they had no idea how powerful this fate crystal was. Undine took the initiative to ask first.

"How did that affect your life, Xiaomao?"

Xiaomao widely grinned. He patted Mu-Nyang's head and sent his Qi into his dantian universe. Then, a million system windows appeared, showing the status of Mu-Nyang's dantian universe. However, it only showed one place, but every screen displayed a different event.

"Ever heard of timelines?"

"!!!"

Mu-Nyang, Miao Damao, and Katerina realized something. They looked closely at one of the screens and noticed that it showed their house.

The screen in front of them showed a family of three – Damao, Katerina, and Xiaomao! They still existed in the other timelines!

"T-This?"

Mu-Nyang was confused. He sank his consciousness into his dantian universe. However, the former house of theirs in China was already demolished.

Then, Mu-Nyang figured out something. He read the karma of the house and discovered that it existed in the other parallel timelines, where Xiaomao failed to defeat Pangu. Mu-Nyang once used it as a reference to save Xiaomao's life, but the karma still existed.

Xiaomao continued, "Because of this thing, I experienced every timeline in Mu-Nyang's universe and sent all crucial information to the real timeline. I also receive special luck perk, hints, and hidden information in the form of whispers. If I remember correctly, I used to call them [Senpai]. What was his name again? Oh, right. [Cathulhu Instinct] and [Foresight] Senpais. It turned out that they were my voices from the other parallel timelines, created by this fate crystal."

"I don't get it," Nymph and others got more confused.

Xiaomao sighed and elaborated.

"Before the Great Reset, Mu-Nyang used to reset the universe and rebuild it over and over again to maintain its balance and suppress Pangu. When he reset the universe, the sages called the old universe "Past Timeline". However, after Mao Miaomiao and Mu-Nyang cooperated and triggered the Great Reset to remove the sage's authority, my soul got reincarnated into his universe and the karmic fate crystal was activated. It predicted countless potential futures and generated karma strings of objects around me."

Mu-Nyang's consciousness came back to his body. He also heard everything that Xiaomao said, and he was enlightened.

"I get it, munya. After the Great Reset, I started using karma techniques to read the future. I saw master died in the "Timelines" so I sent my alter consciousness to be next to you. I saved you from Nian's attack once, but you somehow strayed from the predicted timeline paths. I thought I did my job. But after thinking back, you did 99% of the work, munya!"

"Yup. In reality, there was only one real timeline. The rest was just an illusion and vision of the what-if future. In short, my karmic fate crystal provided me with information, and I beelined toward the best possible outcome until I reach here."

"Wow, munya."

Mu-Nyang's expression was complicated as he had enlightenment. As for the girls, Damao, and Kat, they didn't understand anything. Even Lucky was confused.

Xiaomao hurried and changed the subject, "That's the end of the story, people. I traded my lifespan for a fate crystal of this universe. I died old, and I came back as the new protagonist of THIS universe! Yes, it was my master plan all along!"

"…"

"You think you're the true protagonist, Mu-Nyang? Sorry, it was me, XIAOMAO!"

"Stop using Jojo meme, master."

The crowd booed as they felt like they wasted their time listening to Xiaomao's nonsense. On the other hand, Xiaomao couldn't stop chortling.

Suddenly, Mu-Nyang's expression darkened. He touched his belly and sweated profusely.

"Master, I don't feel so good, munya."

Everybody stopped making noise. They turned to Mu-Nyang, "What's wrong?"

Mu-Nyang closed his eyes and inspected his dantian universe. He reported what he saw.

"Remember that bastard Zhuge Liang, munya?"

"Yeah, that useless protagonist?"

"He's a villain now, munya. He backstabbed Meng Xin and became the new Samsara God. He conquered the first and second game world and is attacking the third game world. Ma Moxi and Ku'er are dead because of him. He consumed their souls and got their power, but Ma Moxi's child inherited his father's fate crystal and is under the protection of this generation seven-sin calamity fiends, munya. Just now, Zhuge Liang and Odin form an alliance, and they are attacking Slave Dungeon, munya!"

"Oh, dear."

Xiaomao, Amon, Lucky, Undine, Nymph, Madoka, Alice, and Wei Zhi shook their heads and sighed. They changed their clothes, wearing a full set of soul-bound armor. After arming themselves, the team stood in front of Mu-Nyang.

"What are you waiting for? Send us in there to clean house."

Mu-Nyang dryly laughed, "Master, please be gentle this time, munya. You're stronger than me. If you go all out, my dantian will explode, munya."

"Don't worry about it. We'll suppress our strength to the quasi-entity stage. That should be enough to handle everybody, right?"

"Hehehe, alright, munya!"

The group transformed into a streak of light and entered Mu-Nyang's dantian, leaving Miao Damao and Miao Katerina behind.

The two parents hugged Mu-Nyang. Then, they giggled, "I guess we're alone again, son."

"Yes, munya."

Mu-Nyang also licked his parents. He closed his eyes and sank his consciousness into his dantian, watching the new beginning of a new story. He then brightly smiled.

"Have fun, master."

Damao and Katerina were happy for their child. They carried him to the small cabin next to the wide flowing river next to the lake.

The cabin was brightly decorated in modern trinkets, light bulbs, and dolls. Its white paint illuminated in the dark night.

Damao and Katerina brought Mu-Nyang to glass coffin of Xiaomao's old body. They covered the coffin with a thick soft futon. Then, they made his bed on top of it.

After leaving Mu-Nyang in Xiaomao's cabin, they gazed at the large board on the wall. It was now covered with thousands of Xiaomao and Mu-Nyang's photos, smiling and having fun next to the river. Brand new cat toys and bottle of catnips stacked on the side while the rest was full of plushy dolls.

The parents got out of the cabin. They then gazed at the brand new houses of Xiaomao's family and Damao's family.

The gloomy lonely cabin was gone. The dead planet was restored. Now, they were filled with life.

Xiaomao and his wives arrived above Slave Dungeon's cave. They looked around and found the armies of Odin and Zhuge Liang. The Cernun Island was devastated as the warships of Zhuge Liang bombed everything to smithereens.

The main force already infiltrated the dungeon, leaving a trail of dead players and tourists.

Xiaomao deeply frowned. He descended and landed in front of the cave. Then, he secured the corpses of the players and cast resurrection spells on them.

The players whose real bodies were still on Earth slowly came back to life. As for the transmigrated ones, their soul orbs reconstructed their physiques, and they regained their consciousness.

"Ah, shit. Here we go again."

Xiaomao gazed at the entrance to the Slave Dungeon's cave, yet he widely grinned, having fun.

The girls in the sky finished destroying the remnant of Odin's forces and Zhuge Liang's warships. They came down and reported.

"The sky is clear, Xiaomao. What's next?"

Undine snickered, "Do we really need to help your father? He's a quasi-entity. He should be fine, right?"

Xiaomao shrugged, "Zhuge Liang got Meng Xin's power, so we can't underestimate him. Anyway, let's weaken this villain and let the next protagonist generation has him."

"Not underestimate him, but we're not killing him? Sounds complicated. Oh, well."

The girls shrugged, believing in their husband.

Xiaomao snapped his fingers. Then, countless portals were opened. A million Cathulhus with grey wings came out from his dantian universe.

"Let's go, boys! TO WAR, MUNYAAAA"
