Chapter 17: Fiancé.

Ten minutes after my first meeting with my siblings.

There was an awkward air in the restaurant. Even though theyre clearly family, its awkward as hell.

And he told me and Mark to enjoy it.

Normally, I would have looked at him like he was looking at a bug, but he just gave me a look that said, Enjoy your meal.

Willie felt dizzy from using his unused brain to think about Kanes change. His gaze shifted briefly to Mark beside him.

He could see that he was just as shocked as he was, and that he had lost his usual cool.

Thomas burst out laughing at their reactions.
